Venus fly trap
This is what a venus fly trap looks like.
the venus fly trap is purple inside it's mouth and green on the outside with red long sharp  lines
on it.

they live in  swamps in California.

what they do 
They ooze out gunk. First they attract small insects. Once they go inside the insect has to touch two hairs, then the venus fly trap will shut on the insect and it is dead.
