Pitcher plants live in jungles or swamps.
What it does it do
They eat small things like rats, frogs, bugs and other small animals. The bug slips down into the acidy water, but it only eats the soft parts of the body.

the terror bird has a long sharp beak to strike opponents its deadly claws can rip its prey in half. at a size of 2 metres almost three. it can swollow an animal hole its very strong. And it is related to the t-rex it lays its eggs in the open and predators attack.

The glawcies has hot,slimy,sticky feet.Its bony neck is good for taking  attacks.This creature does not use its sharp claws instead it uses its feet to jump on enemies and hot sticky substance goes on them and burns them alive.You will mostly find them on and under the sand in africa.It lays its eggs on the substace it created so enemies cant get them.Its brown feathers melt to create the substace on its feet.Its favourite food is lions and bears.

After that we got to go play at the park and swing on the swings Jordie and I went in the hedge and we hid in there until it was time to go.



THE TRAMPOLINE TRIP

The writers club and I went walking down to Michael's house to play on the trampoline. When it was my go I fell and whacked my knee onto my teeth.  All I could taste was blood and metal. I was in pain for a while. Then we went to the parkand  we climbed the trees, I could smell wood around me. When we started to walk balk to school Dyan was super slow, he ran into a tree two times and fell over . We thought he was being silly.

It turned out he had no fuel . So I said "Check the fuel tank."

"Oh.". THE LITTLE BOY FROM CHINA - JOSH

The little Chinese boy loved snakes, his favorite type of snake was a boa constrictor. He talked about them every day and every birthday he asked for a boa constrictor. One year his  parents got him one because they got sick of him asking every year. Two years later he was giving it a bath and the Chinese  boy felt hungry so he started to eat a sausage in front of the big snake.  His tummy rumbled and his tummy hurt. The snake's favorite food was sausage so the snake got jealous.  The snake was angry because he liked sausages and the boy didn't share.  So the snake squeezed the boy to death.  His guts flopped everywhere over the red tiles.  It smelt like vomit and the smell stunk out the whole house. His mum wondered what the smell was so sprinted upstairs and saw    him lying in a pile of blood and guts with the snake eating him.

one upon a time there was little Chinese baby. He was 8 months old. his family was poor and he had to bath himself. one day when he was having a bath the door was wide open and a boa constrictor crept through the door. I crept towards  the  bath then it stuck its fangs into the babies head and the bath went red  the snake grabbed the baby and took it out the door.

michael's story.

"Vroom"  Bob's motor-bike started and the crowd roared.  He could se all the x game signs.  He was so nervous as if he bailed all the crowd would laugh at him (and if you haven't noticed he is in the x-game final and needs 8 points to win).  He revved up his engine.  He put both his feet on the pedals then he zoomed up the biggest jump and did a 360 tuck no hander back flip. He smashed into the ground and bailed.  It came around to Bob's turn again and he now needed 12 points to win he zoomed out the tunnel the crowd rowed again.he went up the jump and tried the siam trick as before because he new it would get him 19 points.he went up the jump and did the trick then boing he landed softly back on his bike.The commentator said "thats a big 19 points to win it for Bob Billy.Three hours later he was back at the  X Games stadium for the presentation of the medals.  First they said "Tom Hutchins for 3rd place." The crows all cheered for him, then they all went quiet.  They announced Ethan Mirfen for second place.  They also cheered for him.  They ten announced Bob Billy for first place.  The crowd all roared.  Then they played the NZ national anthem and put up the three flags of the winners.  When the song was playing they bought out the medals.  Then the crowd clapped and cheered.  Then they bought out the million dollar cheque because that was the prize for winning the X Games.  But it still wasn't enough to buy a new motor bike as he smashed his one when he bailed.

"Splash" I heard my hook hit the water. Suddenly I saw a big silver, fish jump. I reeled in my rod. I struggled to real in my fish but it came onto the humungous boat. The boat had a big cab  by the front of the boat. Yay I get to drive the boat. I almost crashed.

I was hungry, so were the others. So we hunted for food there were 36 of us .Then I said "wow".   We saw a fish then I got it .It was enormous.  Then crkkkkkk I said "the ice is breaking. Then a guy fell in. He died.  Luckily we had swords to hang on to the ice.We hung on the ice but two more guys fell in and died .Then I said jump.

THE BIKE TRIP by Jordie

Me and my lovely friend Josh decided one day to go on a big biking trip . It took a while to get there but when we arrived dad
  noticed he had left his helmet at home so he went home and me and Josh went on our own . after while we saw a couple of moose wandered off and they walked away from the pack and started to charge at Josh.  Then whack the moose hit Josh in the side of the neck.  I thought his life was in my hands.  I jumped off my bike and grabbed a big stick for Josh and he was knocked out.  When I got closer I saw the blood was squirting out. I ran back and got my cellphone and got the helicopters to pick him up.  I had just saved my friend's life.

Bang!!! I heard something and then I went down into the engine room and I saw the engine was fine.  Thud, there was another one so I went back on the deck.  Then I saw that there was something coming up to the surface.  Crunch, the giant sea animal bit onto the ship.  Then I noticed there was more coming for me.  I flicked my hand to start the engine but it wouldn't stop.  Suddenly my eyes flung over to one of the sharks heading away.  So I tossed a rope onto the shark and it tossed and turned trying to get away from me.  Then it stopped and was coming towards my boat...

I was ready to go on my kayak. So as I paddled as my eyes flashed with danger it was a waterfall. It was deathly. I tried  to  paddle but the water was too powerful but I survived. I just noticed that this area is so dangerous.Then I saw fearful piranhas. I was scared.  They were biting my boat. Luckily I had TnT. Then I threw it in the water. Bang they swam away but my boat tipped over.

 I was fizzing with excitement when the lights went off. The show was about to began, first they introduced the man from Australia they did flips over the chairs and all did hand stands on top of  chairs. I thought it was amazing. At the end which was sad there were people on a rope they tied their feet to it and hung upside down . The man did it first then the girl climbed to the top over him she did a hand stand holding the rop it was awesome.  Then boy got down she stood up and she did tricks for a bit then she untied the rope then the adults and children counted down 5,4,3,2,1 drop. She dropped  the boy caught her . It frightened me when she fell.

There was a lion on sticks chasing a giraffe. The lion got ready to pounce. The lion has a big mane. It did a big pounce on to the giraffes back. The giraffe fell to the ground like a big rock. It shrieked loudly when the lion bit its neck.

This is Deltora. It was consumed by the evil Shadow Lord. He has these grey guards. They leave these little marks. It means they have been here. I'm Leif and this is Barda and Jasmine. The king and queen went into hiding because of the Shadow Lord .The belt of Deltora had seven gems that got scattered all over Deltora in the worst of the worst places, the Forest of Scilence.  The Lake of Tears,  City of Rats, Shifting Sand, Dread Mountain, Maze of the Beast and the Valley of the Lost are all guarded by ugly monsters and here's the map.

Whoosh, I could feel the wind rushing against my face. I was riding my red,stripy,mountain bike on the track and someone was in front of me. Suddenly a moose rammed the guy in front of me off his bike. "That dirty old moose" I said. Oh well he will survive. So I left him to heal. It was starting to get dark so I headed back but in the distance I could see a big green blob. I biked towards it, when I got closer i saw that it was a broccoli house "just what I wanted". That's what I wished for when I was ten and it came true in 25 years. Ok it is pitch black now but there was a light switch. i flicked it on and there was the bed I went closer and climbed in and went to sleep. Oops I almost forgot to turn off the light so I got out of bed and turned it off and crawled back into bed. I'm so tired... Ding,ding,ding the alarm went. I started travelling again. I came to a road but it wasn't any road it was a magical road. I drove down it and there was my house. Ok I'm scared.

So they came in and we showed them mums funny book.It's  called 'How Do You Know Your Cat Is Plotting To Kill You' and it comes with a poster.Dad got it for her on Mothers Day.  My cousin got another guinea  pig.It is called Pixie and his other one is called Percy.  Then he was carrying an iPad .He sat the sofa and played mind-craft  And  he found plenty of shiny gold. Pixie is white and Percy is brown,black and white . Pixie's eyes are orange they are creepy. Pixie would not stop moving and Percy would not eat any food.

THE DAY I ALMOST DIED

I was squashed in the packet.  Then a huge stinky hand picked me up by my neck and put me in his mouth.  I pinched his throat.  He screamed.  I saw my chance, his mouth was wide open. I sprinted up his throat but didn't see his tonsils and I fell over and then I was back where I started.  I was slipping back.  I grabbed his throat and pulled myself up until I could get a firm grip and pulled myself up so if I fell or started to slide back down his throat then I could just grab his tonsils then I would be stable. I pinched his throat.   He screamed, I saw my chance again.  I ran for my life. I dived out of the boy's mouth and and landed face first in the bowl. I sprinted out the open door and down the road and into the bushes and I lived happily ever after.

Suck,  suck, em ,em, I could taste the sugary moisture. It was sloppy and moist.



All I could smell was  that delicious jelly baby .





All I could see right on that  plate was the last jelly baby.  My family looked at me and I looked at my family.  Everything was silent the ?...

MASON-THE DAY I DIED!

I was trapped under my family and friends. I got taken out of the packet and thrown into a mouth and slowly  melted. I  was getting swallowed  and I grabbed it's throat. I fell and I  climbed  and ran into it's eye ball.  I saw a way out,  it was an ear.  I jumped splat.   I could not walk "squeak " I quickly  crawled away from the mouse .

 I felt the squishy nice jelly baby in my mouth as I chewed. 
 Yum as I ate the juicy jelly baby. 
 Crunch, crunch, I was eaten alive.
Ahhh the sweet smell of jelly babies.

As I walked in my room I saw colourful jelly babies. As I picked one up it smelled tasty. I put the jelly baby in my mouth. I heard a  squishy noise as I put it in my  mouth.It tasted  nice.  I could hear it squishing.

When I walked into the room I could smell thousands of flavors come pushing towards me. And I could see a mountain of shrunken up faces. As I touched the soft stretchy skin of the  jelly baby I wanted to eat it in seconds. as I bit down into the jelly baby I could hear chewing and the taste was amazing.

I could see fantastic amazing colours on the plate making me want to eat them. I could see small faces wanting to be  eaten. 

I could smell sweet tropical tasty faces waiting to be eaten.They looked really, really tasty.

I could hear my saliva and my teeth working together to try and eat it.

I could feel rubbery slimy sticky jelly babies before eating.

I could taste fruity, hard, nice tasting jelly babies in my mouth. I could feel my mouth and throat was working hard to chew and swallow.  They were really nice and chewy.

  

Kane-The day I died


I was in the packet  squished  up on a mountain of my family. Then I heard a big rip!!!! We all tumbled out of the packet into the bowl.  Our bones were all broken, we couldn't escape. I heard something killing my family!!!! I was the only one left and I couldn't move.These were my last words "HELP!!!!!!" Suddenly I got picked up......I saw a black hole coming up???"AHHHHHHHHHH my legs are gone!!!" I heard saliva in the black hole.....or was it a black hole? I fell down something....ahhh something was burning me. I started to climb up. I saw an exit...I was climbing out. I was free.....for now.

''Haaa'' I said at the top of the tree.''It's so nice to be a panda, you can climb up trees and eat bamboo'' I said to myself.

''Peter , Peter'' shouted my mum. So I jumped on a branch, then backed flipped to another branch and one more jump....THUMP, I landed on my tummy.

''Nice landing'' said my sister, like she could do better than me. ''Hurry up you two, we have to clean out the bamboo garden," Mum said in a fun voice.'

'Ohhh, I just want to stay in my tree'' I moaned. We opened up the door to the bamboo garden and guess what we saw.  All the bamboo was gone. ''I have never seen it empty  before'' I  said.

My big sister blamed it on me. My mum ran to my dad and told him and they both ran to it and it was FULL OF BAMBOO. I knew something was up.  So I ran to my tree.  I hopped on one branch then another back flipped off that one then I jumped into bed.

Zac - The day I died

I was in the cardboard all alone.  Crash, bang.  The cardboard doors flew open.  Weeeee  I got lifted into the air.   Nerrr splat.  I landed face first.  All I could see was plate.  Arrrr a monster.  I could feel his warm furry paw clamped on me.  My last word was "stupid boy.  Put me down."  Unfortunately my head was in a cave.  I had been swallowed.

Christiaan - The day I died

Crash!!!  As I was the first to hit the ground then I felt something push me again onto  the ground.  Suddenly a mountain of my family was on top of me.  Then I saw I saw some hands coming towards me then I was lifted up into the air.   My family was crying out for me.  Then crunch.

Josh - The day I died

I am sitting in the car going somewhere.  My little brother is sitting on me.  I ask mum quietly "Where are we going?"  Suddenly we stopped.  My family was thrown onto a bench.  I was gobbled up.  I wrenched my hands up and fell into a dark hole and exploded.

Jarrod - The day I died

I was squashed in my home with my family.  I was face first into my other family members feet.  His feet smelt like sugar.  I cold hear footsteps getting closer...I was banging amongst my brothers.  Suddenly it stopped and I felt sick.  Suddenly I could hear a big rip.  I looked up and saw a big white patch.  Luckily they were just putting me in a round glass thing.  I was so thankful.  But they picked me up and I got my head bitten off.  Suddenly I died.

I was squashed. And then a person came.  He bought us.  Then we all banged into each other. Then the giants went on a boat.  The ate all of us.  They pushed me off.  Then I saw something.  It was dun, dun, dun.  Yaw it was a shark.  It gobbled me all up. Yum yum yum.  I was gone dead.
