A pitcher plant is a carnivore This is what a pitcher plant looks like. It has a long tube. Its yellow, red green and purple. It has a sugary liquid called nectar. It is very sticky. It atttracts insects like flies so the fly flies into the tube and slips. It kills by making the bugs slip into poison.
Those are the reasons why it is a carnivore.
